Old Fashion Peach Pie Recipe
Can you help me fix my peach pie?

I’ve tried a couple of peach pie recipes, and they taste WICKED- the taste is perfect. But even if I use a lot of flour, the pie tends to be extremely runny, and even on a high heat to start on the bottom shelf the bottom crust is so soaked it’s saturated and really doughy.

What can I do? Should I cook the filling on the stove first or use corn starch or tapioca or something?

Here’s the recipe I just tried (as I said, the taste was phenomenal.)

the best answer for your problem is from cream puff . Look at your question…I totally think that the best answer is to put all ingredients from the filling in a pot and cook them down a little. Make sure the mixture is nice and thick. cool it a little, then pour into crust, top and cook in the oven. Good Luck
