In regards to fashion, do you believe that?

Fashion rules are meant to be broken by those who can pull it off and that the color white looks really fresh when people aren’t expecting it especially when it is supposedly out of season, ie. like in the supposed fashion faux pas that white should not be worn after Labor Day.

no, i dont believe that fashion rules are meant to be broken.
i think its tacky to wear white after labor day. there are most definitely colors and materials that are not supposed to be worn during certain seasons. if you are attempting to dress like an adult, you don’t wear summer white after labor day, that is all there is to it. because whether anyone likes it or not, people will take notice.
do you see any BRIGHT white summery colors on the runway during fall/winter?
obviously there is a HUGE difference between wearing stark white after labor day and wearing WINTER white after labor day, which is absolutely appropriate.
the people who claim to throw caution to the wind, are the people that just don’t care if they are making faux pas.
just imagine asking sophia loren, grace kelly, audrey hepburn or jacqueline kennedy this question.
that’s my opinion on the matter of white after labor day.
