What stores do young adults clothes shop at?

I am 24 years old and haven’t gone clothes shopping in a VERY long time (maybe a year or more) because my husband has been out of work and I’ve been home with our daughter. We finally have some money to get some new clothes and I’d like to know where people my age go clothes shopping so I can get clothes that are in fashion.

I would guess…. Target, Express, … I dunno. I’d love some tips and advice. Thanks.
Oh places like American Eagle or Abercrombie and Fitch are too juvenile for me. lol I’d rather not shop the same place as my teenage brother.
