How realistic are the speech patterns of the Fashion Club members in Daria, the MTV series?

Most of the characters sound like they fit in a normal high school, but two of the Fashion Club members have rather strange speech patterns that I’ve never heard before. Sandi, the president, has a weird intonation that I’m not sure how to even describe. Tiffany, the Asian girl, is valley girl, but she speaks in a monotone and a very slow pace, which is really different from what you see in movies (i.e. Clueless).
