is business school okay if you wanted to have a career in the fashion industry doing promotions?

business degree (marketing degree not availabe in the college i want to go to…i don’t want to go too far from home )
OR fashion school….
i am thinking of getting into promotions in the concert venue industry or clothing company (working on campaigns, events, etc.) i also thought of being a tv or movieproducer (i heard u don’t need to have a lot of money start off with) but i feel the tv/movie industry is more about who u know then a degree.i think the degree is more crucial in the
clothing or concert venue industry
would a business degree be better suited or fashion school?

you need to know your fashion inside and out if you want to be successful.. I believe you can keep up to date on your own. Business school I would strongly recommend, but try to get an internship somewhere maybe where you could have both you know.
