Fashion Portfolio Requirements
Can I apply to FIT (Fashion Institute of Technology)?
I applied to FIT for fashion for this Fall semester.
But I am also interested in Illustration Fashion and that major is still opened for AAS wherea Fashion Design is closed.
So my question is that if I take TOEFL test this April and get score by May or first week of June, will I able to get into FIT for Fashion Illustration? I mean, I will have to hand in portfolio and everthing, but do you know if they accept TOEFL score that late and the major will take me in?
A problem I’m having right now is that,
I did every requirements for Fashion Design except Toefl which I got failing grade. So I need to retake the test and it won’t be happening until end of April which I think it is soooo late.
So I was thinking since the college is going to sending acceptance letters to applicants there will be less chance that I will get into FIT. So I will rather chalnge my major to Illustration Fashion and prepare my portfolio as I study for the Toefl?
Helmp me with any idea.
Have you called FIT yet to ask them about this? Is there a way to get admitted conditional on a certain TOEFL score?
