Fashion DONT/DIASTER!!! Please help me!!!?

Ok. So.. I am a fashion disaster. Well it’s not really my fault. I’m a bit on the heavy side (I’ve always wanted to become a soccer player, now, I look like the ball D) and my mom refuses to buy pretty clothes saying unless I’m skinny there’s no need for me look pretty. I’m about 5’2” and 155 lbs… I swore to myself that I would try to lose 20 pounds before schools starts, August 9, 2010. And if I do so, I want to dress nicely to school. Can someone help me, please???? I am not allowed to wear mini skirts at all, nothing above the knee AT ALL. Actually it might even be better if it was a little past the knee. Obvs, it’s colthes for school so no halter tops, that kinda thing. Please send me some links. I like skinny jeans too, if that helps. Anything below 15 bucks would help b/c I want a COMPLETE wardrobe makeover. ♥

I have this shirt and its superr cute and its on sale right now for 10 dollars! Obviosly you need to wear a cami underneath and i would wear a light baby pink one from forever 21 for $2.50
I would normally wear this with light washed ripped jeans but since you dont want to wear jeans i would wear like a floral or ruffled skirtt or even a pencil skirt but that might be a little to formal heres some options

Another really cute outfit would be just to wear a plain white tee and dress it up with a big turquise necklace (try forever 21 for super cute jewelry under 10 dollars) dark washed skinny jeans and a pair of gold gladiators and maybe a cute sweater if its chilly. A good preppy style store is jcrew they are really expensive but on their website they have styled outfits that can give inspiration also go on youtube and watch all of the beauty gurus they are super helpful and fun to watch. Another cute preppy style is to wear boyfriend styled jeans (kind of loose all the way down) and roll them up a couple times this loook is super cute. Also a really cute outfit could be a plain white tank top with a fun bright cardigan and a leather skinny belt cinching the sweater in with dark skinny jeans. To buy super cheap quality jeans then i would check out marshalls tjmaxx or ross these stores always have pacsun jeans for 12 dollars I really like these jeans because they are durable. For basics go to forever21 all of their basics like tank tops and plain tees are 2.50 all year round. For some ideas check out teenvogue.com and seventeen.com Dont be afraid to be different and dont just wear what everyone else is wearing so you can “fit in”
for jewelry i would keep it simple because the lace so i would go with a bow necklace i know that juicy couture sells a really cute one that i actually have and wear all the time for shoes i would wear ballet flats of your choice because they are also very feminine
Also if you like designer things for not so designer prices try sample sale websites like hautelook.com gilt.com ruelala.com or ideeli.com and these websites are legit not just one of those scams i by designer bags there all the time for super cheap well not super cheap but just not as much as they would be like up to 80% off
Oh and also some uber hot trends are florals, turquoise jewelry (btw a turqouise necklace looks gorgeous with a coral dress and a denim jacket), high waisted skirts, denim jackets, the nautical theme (kind of summery but you could probably pull it off in the fall), leather wrap bracelets gorjana.com has some great ones, cropped tops, lacee and ruffles, and studs
Oh and please dont shop at hollister and abercrombie be unique and different and be who you want to be not what everyone else is wearing
