If you are pasty pale, would you tan a little for your wedding day?

I am more than “fair” skinned…I am pasty pale yuck. Really. So I had planned to tan a little for my wedding day/honeymoon. BUT, the dress shop person says that “No bride should be tanned on their wedding day.” going on to say that brides look best natural.

He is the high-fashion type (or trying to be) and I know that tanning is “out” these days. But I don’t care. I want some color darn it.

I got a spray tan a few days before my wedding day, I too am pale and pasty. I have to say im soooo glad i did it!

I looked healthy and glowing!. I purposely did it a few days before so that it would wash off a bit in case of the “orange look” but the woman who sprayed me did a great job.

I was advised that if i sweat a lot, it might not be the best idea, the inside of the dress would get the tan on, but i didn’t and just in case, i used antiperspirant.
