High School Fashion for Girls, Tips(:?
Hey! In a few months, I’ll be going into my freshman year at High School, and I want to look good seven days a week, make good impressions. I want the opinion of girls in high school: what do you suggest for cute outfits? Here are just some ideas I had, tell me what you think…
Flannel long-sleeve shirts, any cute color. Ripped jeans from stores like Hollister, Abercrombie&Fitch. Graphic tees from Aropostale. Colorful DC, Uggs, maybe Converse. And jewelry… colorful bangles, cute earrings, one or two rings, some necklaces. Just shooting ideas, what’s your thought?
So thanks! I love shopping at any popular place at the mall, name anything, and I’m just curious about what helps me fit in, what looks good, and most importantly what attracts the guys

I’m going to be a freshman too! 
I really love the idea of getting Converse! Love them! I got a pair of yellow ones for 8th grade and I got so many compliments just because they weren’t a commonly chosen color. I’m not really a fan of Aero because their clothes don’t last very long, but hey, if it’s your style, go for it. 
As far as Uggs, I love those soo much! They’re soo soft and warm! I live in the east, so it get’s pretty cold up here! Uggs are just amazing!
Here’s some of my outfit ideas for freshman year. . .
- Pastel or neutral plain scoop or v-neck tees with a pastel or neutral cami. I’d wear them with skinny jeans or slouchy boyfriend midi/bermuda shorts or boyfriend crops. Then I’d wear either ankle boots or vintage riding boots depending on the kind of cut of jeans that I choose. Then I’d add accessories like a big, bold, statement necklace, some wooden bangles, and earring studs.
- Graphic tee or tank with a open, flowy, sweater/vest over it (i think they’re called flyaways). I’d pair it with skinny jeans or skinny bootleg jeans. Then I’d wear either white gladiator sandals or white patent flipflops. Then I’d add a long pendant/vintage necklace, some bangles, and long earrings. I’d also cinch in the waist of the flyaway with either a skinny or medium sized belt.
- Pastel or neutral tank or tee with a striped slouchy/grandpa cardigan over it (sleeves pushed up). I’d wear it with skinny jeans or skinny bootleg jeans and a long vintage necklace, bangles, and long earrings. For shoes, I’d wear ankle boots.
- Pastel or white fitted tee with loose, cinched, cropped sweats with low Converse/Chucks. I’d wear it with a chunky watch, mixed bangles, and a coordinating scarf.
- Ditzy patterned cami with a denim jacket, boyfriend crops and ankle boots with long/round earrings and mixed bangles.
- Pastel tee with a boyfriend blazer, long vintage necklace, boyfriend crops, and ankle boots.
- Pastel tee with skinny or skinny bootleg jeans with a scarf, a wide or skinny headband w/ flower details, and silver metallic sandals/gladiators or metallic flats.
- Flannel shirt (open) with a white tank and a denim jacket to go over it (also open with sleeves pushed up) with a long vintage necklace, long earrings, skinny or skinny bootleg jeans and ankle boots, vintage riding boots, patent flipflops, or gladiators.
Soo yeah, there’s some of my ideas! I really recommend getting vintage accessories like scarves, bracelets, rings, necklaces, and definately boots! You can find really gorgeous stuff at low prices that have way more character to them than new stuff that you just by at a regular store. So yeah, vintage shops are great! But I wouldn’t recommend going there for everything. I’m not crazy about vintage clothes..
But whatever you get, vintage or new, make sure it has a great fit that flatters your body. Not everything looks good on everyone, so don’t follow ALL of the trends. Just a few that you know that you can pull off. Also have a outfit you can rely on to get you through the entire year. Like, for me it’s a simple pastel or neutral colored tee with a statement or long necklace, jeans, and ankle boots. I’m definately going to be rocking that look most of the year.
Also make sure that most of the stuff you get are staples that you need! Don’t get something that you’ll only wear once in a while because it might end up being a waste of money. Staples like tees, boots, jeans, and necklaces are all musts for me, so before you start shopping, make a priority list of things you NEED to get you through the year. Hope this helped!
